Can you walk if there is no friction? Give reason for your answer

No, you cannot walk if there is no friction.

Imagine walking on Ice. It would be hard right? You'd keep slipping, because the force of friction is very less. Now imagine if there was no friction at all.

As per Newton's third law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

When you press the ground with your feet, friction gives the reaction and you are able to walk.
