Explanation:

The World Around Us.

Let us leave modern men to their ‘truths’ and let us only be concerned about one thing: to keep standing amid a world of ruins. — Julius Evola

Living in this world of unstable and rapidly changing reality people seem to lose consciousness of their being. Now it is hard to find a whole-hearted person it seems now that almost everyone has a split personality. But is it strange? I think it is not. In days of old society was divided into strict social groups and people knew nothing about social mobility. If one was born as a peasant the possibility to become a lord was extremely small. “Injustice”, - some might say. But people of the past were more consistent, they were people of tradition. And the world of Tradition is quite different from the Post-Modern world that we live in. French Revolution is considered to be a reference point of the process which reached its highest point after the WWII, and changed the minds of the following generations proclaiming new liberal values above all. Double standards and the desire to equalize at the lowest level of human existence, the obsession with economy and eternal greed – that is what hidden behind the mask of modern values. I would not say that it is an unconditional surrender of the World of Tradition. The beginning of the twentieth century was a time of titans and it was not a long time ago and there are still some centres of resistance but the overall picture is not very encouraging. The thing I am most concerned about is that there is no more respect for opponents. Dignity seems to be an empty sound. Offences and gossips are considered to be a proper tool of "diplomacy". At this rate the world around us that has already lost its transcendental dimension would lose the last drops of sense. I believe that the primary goal of everyone who feels that he belongs to the world of tradition is to resist to the process of global transformation of human nature into animal state. We should oppose to consumerism, mass culture in its worst manifestation and have dignity and respect for people. To my mind this is the only way which may help to preserve the world around us from decay and total materialism. The only way to live true live, to appreciate the beauty of art and nature, remember the history and have enough courage to keep on
