cost of 1dozen=24 rupees

cost of 1item=24/12=2rupees

now,cost of 100 items=2*100=200

now, 12%of 200=12*200/100=12*2=24

therefore, I get a profit of 12% it must be sold at 200+24=224 rupees

24 rs per dozen

so 2 rs per piece

buying price of 100 piece is 200rs

12% of 200 is 24 rs

calculation

100%=200

12%= x

cross multiply

x= 200×12% /100

x= 24 rs

so the person should sell the

100 candies at 224 rs
