When the candle burns , the wax begins to melt and changes it shape. This melted wax can be again moulded to form the same shape.

Hence , it is reversible change since the properties of wax do not change.

CHEMICAL CHANGE :

When the candle melts , the wick burns and slowly it begans to decrease its length and turns into black. This burnt wick cannot be again changed into the original white wick.

The burnt wich is of no use and hence it is an irreversible change.
