Candle burns with a flame whereas coal does not..??WHY..??​

Answer:

Wax is the substance which vaporizes during burning thereby giving flame. Wax is a petroleum product and it is used in candles, therefore when the wax melts, it rises through the wick and is vaporized during burning and produce flames. On the other hand, Coal does not vaporize and so does not form a flame.

Coal does not produce flame when burnt because it does not vapourizes, only those substances which vapourizes on burning produce flame like wax , natural gas.
