Candle is a solid ,after melting it's becomes solid why?

Some colored waxes, such as black, are pretty opaque when solid but can be seen through when melted. However, that's because there isn't much pigment. When they are melted,it's just swimming around. When solid, the pigment fills up the cracks between microcrystals, forming little sheets.
