Answer: Capacitive reactance X_{c}  increases with a decrease in the frequency of alternating current and current in the capacitive ac circuit increases the ac voltage.

Explanation:

We know that  X_{c} = \frac{1}{cw}

Where,

X_{c}  = capacitive reactance

C = capacitance of the capacitor

ω = angular frequency of the alternating current

ω = 2πf

where f is the frequency of the alternating current.

=> X_{c} = 1 / 2πf --------------------------(1)

From eq(1) we can say that   X_{c} and f are inversely proportional.

Therefore, capacitive reactance X_{c}  increases with decrease in frequency of alternating current.

And we know that V =I R      (Ohm's Law)

Therefore, current in the capacitive ac circuit increases the ac voltage.
