Capacitor C1 is connected alone to a battery and charged until the magnitude of the charge on each plate is 4.0 x 10^-8 C. Then it is removed from the battery and connected to two other capacitors C2 and C3. The charge on the positive plate of C1 is then 1.0 x 10^-8 C. The charge on the positive plates of C2 and C3

Answer:

The charge on Q2 and Q3 =3×10^{-8}

Explanation:

By charge  conservation: 4×10^{-8}=1.0×10^{-8} +Q2

since C2 and C3 are connected in series ,so they will  have same charge

∴Q2 = Q3

Q3 =3×10^{-8}
