We know that there is no frequency i.e. OHz frequency in DC supply we put frequency “ f=0 " in the inductive reactance ( which is AC resistance in capacitive circuit ) formula . if we put Xc as infinity , the value of current would be zero . That is the exact reason why a capacitor block DC.
