At the time of ruling of Pandavas , it is called as
Hastinapur .
But at the rule of British Raj , Calcutta was considered as the capital of India
Then , later in 1911 it was decided that capital of India is to be shifted from Calcutta to Delhi
Finally , in 1927 it is named as " New Delhi "
Since 1927 " NEW DELHI " is the official, economical and administrational capital of India.
