time taken by car =x/65

time taken by motorcycle=x/52

difference in time taken =30min=30/60=1/2

therefore   x/52-x/65=1/2

(65x/52*65)-(52x/65*52)=1/2

65x-52x=1/2*65*52

x(65-52)=65*26

13x=65*26

x=65*26/13

x=65*2

x=130km
