Given :

Acceleration of the car = 10m/s²

Initial velocity = 10m/s

To Find :

Final velocity of car after 5 seconds.

Solution :

❖ Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity.

  • It is a vector quantity having both magnitude as well as direction.
  • It can be positive, negative or zero.
  • SI unit : m/s²
  • CGS unit : cm/s²
  • Dimension formula : [L¹T‾²]

Formula : \underline{\boxed{\bf{\orange{a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}}}}}

➙ a = (v - u) / t

➙ v - u = at

v = u + at

By substituting the given values;

➙ v = 10 + 10(5)

➙ v = 10 + 50

v = 60 m/s
