When equal distance covered in equal time with different velocity use this formula
2V1V2/V1+V2
Here V1=20 and V2= 15
2×20×15/20+15
600/35
17km/ hr average speed
If required in m/s then first convert all quantity in m/ s and apply same method

No it's write.....you may derive it by using this formula too distance /total time formula apply
But it's better to use this formula 2 v1v2/ V1+ V2
If answer is not matched plz convert 20 km/ hr and 15 km/ hr into m/ s and then apply same formula
Then it comes around 4.6m/s
