Or you could work it out from first principles yourself:

Acceleration is how much velocity changes in a given time, so if you know the change in velocity is 2 m/s for each second, and the time is 4 seconds, the total change in velocity is 2x4 = 8 m/s, and since it is starting from rest this is also the velocity attained.

To find the distance travelled just multiply the average velocity by the time. Average velocity is (0+8)/2 =4 m/s, so distance travelled is 4x4 = 16 m.
