Hello dear,

◆ Answer -

v = 30 m/s

◆ Explaination -

For first 2 sec,

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

24 = u×2 + 1/2 a×2^2

24 = 2u + 2a

u = 12 - a

For first 5 sec,

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

24 + 51 = u×5 + 1/2 a×5^2

75 = 5u + 25a/2

15 = u + 5a/2

Substitute u = 12-a,

15 = 12-a + 5a/2

3a/2 = 15 - 12

a = 3 × 2/3

a = 2 m/s^2

Now,

u = 12 - a

u = 12 - 2

u = 10 m/s

Velocity after next 5 s i.e. after 2+3+5 = 10 s from start,

v = u + at

v = 10 + 2×10

v = 30 m/s

Hence, velocity of car after next 5 s is 30 m/s.

Hope this helps you...
