car travels a certain distance with a speed of 60km/h in 15 min and then the remaining distance at a speed of 90 km/h in the next 15 min. Calculate the total distance covered by the car. ​

Let's convert the time to hours as the unit is km/h

=15/60

=(1/4)hour

Now,Since

S1=60km/h

T1=1/4

D1=S×T

=60×1/4

=15km

Now,

S2=90km/h

T2=1/4hour

D2=S×T

=90×1/4

=22.5km

Hence,

Total distance=D1+D2

=22.5km+15km

=37.5km
