А car travels along in a straight line for the first half time - with a speed of 40 km/hr and the second half time with a speed of 60 km/hr. Find the average speed of the car.

50 km/h

The average speed is measured by total distance by total time taken.

=> 40+60/2

=> 100/2

=> 50km/h
