avg speed =( v1+v2) / 2

36km/hr = 10m/s

72km/hr = 20m/s

avg. speed = (10+20)/2

= 15m/s

insufficient Data to find average Speed .

Explanation:

insufficient Data to find average Speed .

(as we need distance between Cities or time taken in travel from one city to another)

Assuming  Questionto be

Car Travels from Delhi to Panipat at 36 km/hr and from Panipat to Delhi at 72 km/hr.

Let Say distance between Cities  = D  km

Time taken at 72 km /hr  = D/72

Time taken at 36 km/hr  = D/36

Total Time = D/72  + D/36

= (D + 2D)/72

= 3D/72

= D/24

Total Distance = D + D = 2D km

Average Speed = 2D/(D/24)  = 48 km/hr

48 km/hr  = 48  * 5/18   m/s   =  13.33  m/s
