a) The particles in the gas collide with the wall , and this collision causes a force , and this force is exerted to a area , hence by air exerts pressure

b) The pressure will increase, because when heat energy is supplied they  move faster as they gain energy, which results in more collision with the wall of the tyre causing greater force
