Given :

The initial rate of working wage = i =  $9 per hour

The percentage raise every hour = r =4%

To Find :

The hourly wage after three years

Solution :

Let The hourly wage after three years = F

According to question

Wage after three years = initial wage × (1+\dfrac{rate}{100})^{time}

Or,   F = i × (1+\dfrac{r}{100})^{n}

Or,  F = $9 × (1+\dfrac{4}{100})^{3}

Or,  F = $9 × (1.04)³

Or,  F = $9 × 1.124

∴     F = $10.11

So, The hourly wage after three years = F = $10.11

Hence, The hourly wage after three years is $10.11  Answer
