Carbanions are strong Lewis bases ( electron pair donors) with the same electronic structures as amines.

Here is your answer-!!☺️

Answer:

While the other answer is not incorrect, it doesn’t explain why. For the binary acids, within a row, increasing electronegativity of the anion results in stronger acids because the H-X bond is more polar and easier to dissociate. Within a group, though, bond strength is the determining factor. Since bond strength is dependent on the radius of the anion (larger anion = weaker bond), elements in the 2nd period are weaker acids than those below, increasing in strength moving down the column. the H-F bond is very strong, so even though it is also very polar, the strength “wins” and HF is a weaker acid, or conversely, F– is a stronger base.
