Carbohydrates are the large group of organic compounds occurring in food and living  tissues. They contain hydrogen and oxygen in 2:1 ratio. Carbohydrates can be classified  as simple or complex, depending on their chemical structure. Write down the apparatus required to conduct the activity to test for the presence  of starch in the given food samples.​

2.Take some food samples..

3. we have to take iodine to check the presence of starch in food samples..

4. If the food samples contains starch then they will turn into blue black colour after dropping iodine solution on them.....
