Graphite is soft and it I used in pencils

Diamond is very hard and it's the hardest substance

Then difference btn diamond and graphite is thatgraphite id a compound of carbon that can conduct electricity while diamond can't

Thats the biggest difference

The reason is because of graphites outer most electron that enables it to conduct electricity
