Carbon dioxide can be found in gaseous state but not in liquid
It can be found in gaseous form and solid form
Hence the name dry ice

actually carbon dioxide is found in gaseous state as it is uses in gas form but for other purposes it have compressed and the liquid form of it obtains for transportation.....
