As carbondioxide consists of carbon and oxygen. they both are present in a fixed propotion everywhere i.e. 3:8 . you will carbondioxide cosisting of 1 carbon atom and 2 oxygen atoms (Co2) every where in the whole world.That's why it is still a pure substance.
