Hey friend,
Here is your answer:
When carbon dioxide is bubbled into lime water, the solution turns into a milky white suspension.
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ---> CaCO3 + H2O
If more carbon dioxide is passes, the solution formed becomes clear.
CaCO3 + CO2 + H2O ---> Ca(HCO3)2
Hope it helps u.

lime water means Ca(OH)2
It is partially soluble in water and makes the solution alkaline
If CO2 is bubbled through the solution then it reacts with lime water and forms calcium carbonate .The equation is as follow:
Ca(OH)2+CO2---> CaCO3+H2O
Calcium is insoluble in water. So it will be in form of precipitate
