Carbon dioxide which is a gas under normal conditions of temperature and pressure can be

liquefied by compressing it to 70 atm at ordinary temperature. What happens when pressure is

suddenly released?

when the pressure is suddenly released ! carbon dioxide bubbles up and with great effervesence it changes its colour to very light white and then it changes into gas ...... coz..it became liquid after the pressure of 70 atm

when pressure is released co2 becomes its same state I.e liquid
