Carbon monoxide gas more dangerous than CO2 why??

hi!
As we CO is considered as toxic and hazardous than Co2. It is more dangerous than Co2 because it reacts with haemoglobin in our blood streams and produces a stable compound which prevents O2 from entering the body. however, CO is more dangerous than Co2. CO2 is more tolerable in our body because we are able to exhale it.
