C + O2-------------> CO2

So 12 g of Carbon reacts with 32 g of oxygen for complete combustion , to produce (12+32)=44 g of Carbon- dioxide.

Therefore 6 g of Carbon will react with 16 g of oxygen, to produce (6+16)= 22 g of Carbon - dioxide.

The remaining (32–16)=16 g of oxygen will be left unreacted
