A well shuffled deck of cards will actually be 54 cards, unless you have taken the jokers out. I'm going to run with the jokers being included.

Black is a rather high probability compared to an 8 card. In a 52 card deck the probability of drawing a black card is 50%. In a 55 card deck the probability would be 26/54 = 0.48,thus 48%.

For an 8 card it would be 4/54 = 0.074,thus 7.4%.

Drawing a black 8 would be half of that, 3.7%.

If the jokers could count as whatever you wanted them to count, eg. 8, you can go 6/54.
