Question :-

Why cardiac muscles are involuntary?

Answer :-

Involuntary muscles are not controlled by the human brain .

Cardiac muscle is present in the heart.

A human heart beats forever and is never under the brain's control.

The heart will never stop functioning unless the person is dead.

Hence it is not under our control . The involuntary actions ( not under our will ) are hence controlled by the cardiac muscles .

So we can say that :

Cardiac muscles are involuntary.

Question :-

What does it mean to say that cardiac muscles are involuntary ?

Cardiac muscles are involuntary.

This means that cardiac muscles function without the involvement of the Brain.

Hope it helps !
