i) A perfect cube

from 5 to 45 , numbers which are perfect cube = {8 , 27} = 2.

Let the probability of getting a perfect cube be n(g).

Probability n(P)

 = \frac{n(g)}{n(t)}

 = \frac{2}{40}

 = \frac{1}{20}

ii)

Favourable outcome ={11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, } = 10

Let n(x) be the probability of getting a two digit prime number.

Probability n(P)

 = \frac{n(x)}{n(t)}

 = \frac{10}{40}

 = \frac{1}{4}
