There are 48 cards numbered  3, 4, 5, .........,50 are  placed in a box.
Total number of outcomes = 48

i) There are 6 numbers divisible by 7
7, 14 ,21, 28, 35, 42, 49
Number of favourable outcomes= 7

Probability = Number of favourable outcomes/ Total number of outcomes
P(divisible by 7) = 7/48= 7/48

ii) There are 6 numbers which are a perfect square.
4,9,16,25,36,49
Number of favourable outcomes= 6

Probability = Number of favourable outcomes/ Total number of outcomes
P(perfect square number) = 6/48= ⅛
