No. of prime numbers between 7 to 49 = 12

and the prime numbers are 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47.

So the probability that the number written on the card is a prime number = 12/42 = 2/7.

And no. of multiple of 7 = 7

and the multiple are 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42 and 49.

So the probability that the number written on the card is a multiple of 7 = 7/42 = 1/6.
