Kerosene oil is combustible substance and produce heat and light immediately and Inhaling kerosene fumes can cause nausea and dizziness. Breathing in the fumes for a long time may cause long term neurological of kidney damage including blood clots that may damage the brain. So Special care should be taken to store kerosene oil.
