a) area of the picture =s*s=18*18 = 324cm²
b)4*324= 1296cm²
c)√1269=36cm
therefore dimension of the board = 36*36cm

see picture.

Area of the square picture = 18 cm * 18 cm = 324 cm²
This means that length and breadth of picture are 18 cm each and it is a square

Area of the square board = 4 times area of picture = 4 * 324 cm² = 1296 cm²

area of the board = 4 * 324 = 2 * 2 * 18 * 18 cm² = 2 * 18 * 2 * 18 = 36 * 36 cm²

as the board is a square, the area is length* length, and the breadth = length.

So length = 36 cm  and also breadth is 36 cm.
