⊙Carnot’s Cycle
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
→ Carnot's engine works in four stages the stages are explained using PV diagram. Consider one mole of a perfect gas in a cylinder provided with frictionless Piston.

→ Refer The Above Diagram For Four Stages :

⊙Stage-1: Isothermal Expansion
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
→ The cylinder is placed on the source maintained at a temperature T1. The gas is allowed to expand isothermally. during this expansion of a gas absorbs and amount of heat Q1 from the source at constant temperature T1 K. this isothermal change is represented by the curve AB.

⊙Stage-2: Adiabatic Expansion
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
→ The cylinder is placed on the insulating stand and the gas is allowed to expand adiabatically till the temperature falls from T1 to T2. This adiabatic expansion is represented by the curve BC.
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
⊙Stage-3: Isothermal Compression
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
→ The cylinder is next placed on the sink (maintained at constant temperature T2) and the gas is compressed isothermally. During this process a certain amount of heat Q2 is rejected into the sink this isothermal compression is represented by the curve CD.
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
⊙Stage-4: Adiabatic Compression
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
→ Again the cylinder is placed on the non conducting stand. The gas is compressed adiabatically till it returns to its initial state. This adiabatic compression is represented by the curve DA.
░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░░▒▓██▓▒░
→ The Curve ABCDA represent a Carnot's cycle. The area of the loop ABCDA gives the total worth done per cycle
Answer:
The Carnot cycle is a theoretical ideal thermodynamic cycle proposed by French physicist Sadi Carnot in 1824 and expanded upon by others in the 1830s and 1840s. When a system is taken through a series of different states and finally returned to its initial state, a thermodynamic cycle is said to have occurred.
