Carol has two cats, Rover and Bobo. Rover eats 3/4 of a can of cat food each day and Bobo eats 1/2 of a can of cat food each day. Cat food costs $5.00 for three cans. It is only sold in 3 can packs. what are the quantities in this situation?

b -1/2 can

per day r+b needs = 1/2 +3/4 = 11/4 =5/4 can

3 cans = 12/4 cans

12/5 =2.4

3cans will be sufficient for 2.4 days
