The main factors which have a major role in photosynthesis are light intensity, carbon dioxide, and temperature. Low of limiting factors as formulated by Blackmann states that the rate of physiological process is limited by the factor which is in shortest supply. On a clear day the light intensity is in ample amount which also maintains the temperature at optimum level. So the limiting factor on clear day is the availability of carbon dioxide.
