Given:

Distance: 2 I 3.5 I 3 I 4.5 (in meters)

Time: 18 I 31.5 I 27 I 40.5 (in minutes)

To Find:

The speed at which he runs each day.

Solution:

According to the formula,

Speed = Distance / Time.

So,

When, Distance = 2m and Time = 18 min.

Speed = 2/18 = 0.11 m/min.

When, Distance = 3.5m and Time = 31.5 min.

Speed = 3.5/31.5 = 0.11 m/min.

When, Distance = 3m and Time = 27 min.

Speed = 3/27 = 0.11 m/min.

When, Distance = 4.5m and Time = 40.5 min.

Speed = 4.5/40.5 = 0.11 m/min.

Hence, Carson travels the given distance at given time with same speed which is 0.11m/min.
