Cartilage is present in the Joints of our body weich helps in their smooth movements with advancing age. This Cartilage wears off .how would This affect the movement of Joints?

Explanation:

Actually the joints are moving freely due to the presence of a fluid known as synovial fluid . The cartilage present is also much helpful in reducing the friction in between the joints . So when the cartilage wears of the joint becomes much stif . Those joints get much hard to move and provides much pain due to much friction happing directly in between the bones of the joint. This makes a person resist to move or provides much pain during moving.
