The Banjara (also called Gor, Lamans, Lambadi, Lambhani, Lambani and Gormati) are a community usually described as nomadic people with origins in Rajasthan.
The Ahom kingdom was ruled by a king, called Swargadeo (Ahom language: Chao-Pha), who had to be a descendant of the first king Sukaphaa.
