Answer:

(a) (ii) 200 mm

www

4 diameters +circumference

28+22

50x4

200

(b) (iv) 77mm

1/8×22/7×14×14

77mm

(c) (iv) 62.86mm

given: circumference of silver circle=

44mm

2x22/7xr = 44

r = 44×7/2×22

r = 7mm

therefore, radius of golden circle= radius of Silver circle +3mm=7mm+3mm

10mm

now,

circumference of golden circle=2x22/7×10=62.86 mm

(d) (iii) 51 pie

area of golden circle = piex10x10

= 100 pie

area of silver circle = pie x7x7

= 49 pie

now, area of golden- area of Silver

100 pie - 49 pie

= 51 pie

(e)(iii) 4

2pie x10 =80 pie
