Given : electric poles bent into the shape of parabolic which cut x axis at 2 and 3

To Find : the zeroes of the given curve.

The polynomial expression of given curve

If x= -2, then find the value of polynomial.

Solution:

the zeroes of the given curve.  are   2 and 3 as  parabolic  cut x axis at  2 and 3

There are two zeroes

The polynomial expression of given curve is

= (x - 2)(x - 3)

= x² -5 x +6

x= -2

=> Value = (-2)² -5(-2) + 6  = 20
