Given :  Four friends Ram,Raju,Ravi,Ritu are standing in reference to a well situated at the origin with the following respective coordinates (2,4),(-2,4),(-2,-4) and (2,-4).

To Find : the perimeter of the rectangle *

distance between Ram and Raju

Raju stands on which quadrant

Solution:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( 4  + 8)

= 2 ( 12)

= 24  cm

Ram and Raju

(2,4),(-2,4),

distance between Ram and Raju    =   4  cm

Raju (-2,4), stands on Quadrant 2

Ordinate of (2,-4)   is - 4

coordinate point of the point which lies on both X & Y-axes  is ( 0 , 0)
