All courts at different levels in a country put together are called judiciary . The Indian judiciary consists of a supreme court for the entire nation , high courts in the states and district courts at local level . The following are the major functions of Indian judicial system :
1 - It resolves disputes between the citizens of the country
2- It looks into the disputed issues between citizen and the govt.
3- It resolves the disputes between two or more govt.
4- It looks into the matter of disputed issues between the union or state level .
