Case study "ramgarh is a mountain village which has no road for motor vehicles for 15 kilometers. the primary health centre (phc) has no doctor or equipment. the villagers go to a village quack to receive treatments for their ailments. the villagers have developed a strong faith in the skills of the quack as he has cured many patients though some have died. the villagers believe that an available quack is better than an unavailable doctor. what do you think needs to be done in this situation? give reasons."

Roads and schools should be developed in the region. This should be done because the availability of roads will lead the people to let their children into schools for education and nearby schools will lead to more literacy. This literacy will help the educated people to equip themselves with the PHC duty.
