rows = n
=> (n/2) (2*3 + (n-1)2) = 120
=> n(n+ 2) = 120
=> n = 10

= 3 + (10 - 1)2
= 3 + 18
= 21
difference in number of pots placed in 8th row and 3rd row
8th row = 3 + 7(2)
3rd row = 3 + 2(2)
Difference = 5(2)
= 10
