  • Before knowing the journal entry for the transection one must know which account does cash and bank relate too.Both cash and bank are real account.As per rule "debit what comes in ,credit what goes out". whenever one received the cash ,it must be debited as it is coming to us.Likewise whenever cash is being paid .it means going away ..that should be credited.

So the entry for the above transection will be ...

Cash A/c Dr.

To bank A/c

(Withdrawal of cash from bank)
