cat and rabbit weigh 10kg. A dog and rabbit weigh 20kg. A dog and cat weigh 24kg. How much do the rabbit, cat and dog weigh all together? what will be the wieght of one?
Answers
Answer:
Cat=7kg ,Dog=17 kg ,Rabbit =3kg ,total weight=27 kg
Step-by-step explanation:
As per the question it is based on total weight at all animals
We need to find the total weight of dog, cat rabbit
Following data is given as follows
Cat and rabbit weight=10kg
Dog and rabbit weight=20kg
dog and cat weight =24kg
we need to find the total weight as well as weight of dog ,cat ,rabbit
Let us assume
Dog=D ,cat=C ,rabbit= R
C+ R =10kg
D+ R=20kg
D+ C =24kg
Adding the equations
2C +2D+2R=10+20+24
2(C+ D+ R)=54
C+ D+ R=54 /2
C+ D+ R=27
R = 10 - C = 20 - D
C = D - 10
Substitute in the third equation:
D + D - 10 = 2D - 10 = 24
2D = 34; D = 17 (Dog = 17 kg)
C = D - 10 = 17 - 10; C = 7 (Cat = 7kg)
R = 10 - 7 = 20 - 17; R = 3 (Rabbit = 3 kg)
D + C + R = 17 + 7 + 3 = 27 kg.
So finally we get the weight of
Cat=7kg ,Dog=17 kg ,Rabbit =3kg ,total weight=27 kg
INFORMATION PROVIDED :-
cat and rabbit weigh 10kg. A dog and rabbit weigh 20kg
A dog and cat weigh 24kg
QUESTION :-
cat and rabbit weigh 10kg. A dog and rabbit weigh 20kg. A dog and cat weigh 24kg. How much do the rabbit, cat and dog weigh all together? what will be the wieght of one?
GIVEN :-
cat and rabbit weigh 10kg
A dog and rabbit weigh 20kg
A dog and cat weigh 24kg
What we have to find :-
cat and dog weigh all together = ?
what will be the wieght of one?
SOLUTION :-
Weight of cat and mouse = 10kg
so C + M = 10 kg (i)
similarly D + M = 20kg(ii)
and D + C = 24kg(iii)
adding (i),(ii) and (iii) we get :-
C + C + D + D + M + M = 10 + 20 + 24 = 54kg
so 2C + 2D + 2M = 54 kg
taking 2 as common
so 2(C+D+ M) = 54kg
so (C+D+M) = 54/2 = 27kg
